Standing notices

  1. No launching without a duty instructor signed on in the book. The book lives in the caravan, not in the clubhouse.
  2. Circuit is left hand on 24, right hand on 06. Keep the village off your wingtip — noise complaints cost us the evening slot two summers running.
  3. Livestock in the field east of the boundary from lambing until the end of April. Retrieves go the long way round, through the gate by the barn.
  4. Trailers park nose out. The gateway has to stay clear for the tractor.
  5. If you are the last to leave, the gate is padlocked and the caravan step comes in.

Visiting

Ring the caravan before you set off. If nobody answers the field is not manned, and an unannounced arrival at a closed field is how gates get left open and sheep get out. Approach from the lane only — the track past the quarry is not ours and the owner has asked, more than once, that we stop using it.
